Saturday December 10 2016  The 36th Lake Ferry Classic Excursion.

Hosted by the Sunbeam Club for the last 35 years, you are welcome to join in whatever you consider your classic car, be it a lowly Ferrari, a prancing Skoda or a great P76.  Be at the Fell Engine Museum in Featherston about 10.30 am and park up for the drivers briefing.  A low key friendly slow paced day to start the season off.  ALL makes welcome, free entry.

Saturday January 28 2017 All Aussie Car Day

Hosted by the Manawatu Ford Club, this  event is gaining in popularity and support.  Be at the gates of Manfield Auto Course on South Street by 10.00 am, we expect entry to be $10 which is paid to a nominated charity.  Event finishes by 2.00 pm after a big prize giving allowing plenty of time for return journeys or other things.  WE want YOU there in your Leyland this year.  Ten of us would be good.  Southern and Northern members most welcome. Gazebo, chairs and other comforts set up for the club.

Prepare to stay over in Feilding for a morning cruise through to Dannevirke with breakfast along the way in Woodville so you can then attend:

Sunday January 29 2017 Wheels with Attitude

On the Dannevirke A&P Showgrounds on the northern side of town, take Neptune Street off the main road and queue along the street to pay your $2 entry fee which is paid to a nominated charity.  Be there by 10.00 am at the latest as this event fills fast with vehicles of all descriptions  from all over the globe.  We need more Leyland’s here too.  The Southern and Northern members from Manfield should join us here for the day as well.  Gazebo, chairs and other comforts set up for the club.

Sunday February 12 2017 The 31st British Car Day

Trentham Memorial Park, Upper Hutt, use Barton Road off Fergusson Drive, pay your $5 entry to be donated to Wellington free Ambulance, and join our happy band which may well include some odd Leyland’s like Princess, Wolseley and MG models.  We have been to every one of these events so why stop now.
