December 3 : Christmas party

Central Group P76 Christmas party being in lieu of our normal monthly meeting is being held in Te Horo at the Red House Cafe just SOUTH of Hyde Park on SH1.

We are booked for 7.00p.m. but earlier arrival is fine.  The cafe is fully licensed, the three course meal is $49 per head and the establishment comes highly recommended.  Organised by Merv and Rose, Rose has suggested it be an opportunity for the ladies to dress up and the men to show off their finest club regalia – that’s polo shirts etc for those that don’t know!  As always numbers are essential and urgently required but we try to be totally flexible as well.

P76 contact is Rose Bendall on 06 367 3761 or rose.merv@xtra.co.nz

December 10 : Lake Ferry Classic Motoring Excursion

This is the 32nd running of this event hosted by the Sunbeam Car Club.  All are welcome no matter what you drive.  Come along for a family picnic or book early for lunch at the Lake Ferry Pub.  The convoy leaves The Fell Engine Museum in Featherston at 11.30 a.m.  This is a low key get together to start the season off.  Kid’s playground, toilets flash, fast, old, slow and all manner of classics and new cars will be there to admire, lie about and generally appreciate.
